
Za’atar Spiced Chicken Legs with Lemon Yogurt
Fragrant, juicy and full of flavour, these chicken legs pair perfectly with our Mediterranean Chickpea & Feta Salad or Roasted Butternut Squash, Pomegranate & Rocket Salad. Rich in protein, healthy fats and polyphenols, plus served with a cooling probiotic yogurt to support gut health and balanced blood sugar. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two–three days.

Ingredients
- 4 organic chicken legs (drumstick + thigh)
- 2 tbsp za’atar spice mix
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Juice of ½ lemon
- Sea salt + black pepper
For the sauce:
- 200g natural organic yogurt or coconut yogurt
- Juice of ½ lemon
Method
- Rub chicken with za’atar, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
- Roast at 200°C for ~30–35 mins until golden and cooked through.
- Mix yogurt and lemon juice; serve alongside.
